The COSTA RICA PIANO FESTIVAL welcomes pianists of all levels, ages, and nationalities, providing an immersive experience for those committed to refining their artistry. Our programs offer private lessons, masterclasses, concerts, international competition, stage presence coaching, and workshops, led by world-renowned artists. Additionally, participants will have the unique opportunity to explore some of the natural and cultural wonders of one of the greenest, happiest countries in the world.
PROGRAMS
The Competition is open for advanced pianists of all ages and nationalities.

Applicants are not required to attend the Festival to participate in the competition.

Private Lessons
Each student will have the opportunity to receive three private lesson with our distinguished faculty.

Student Recitals
Students will participate in two public performances in the main concert venues of Costa Rica.

Master Classes
Our outstanding guest artists will be offering master classes for all the students to perform and learn from each other.

Faculty Concerts
Our exceptional faculty will be performing inspiring solo concerts for the students and general public to enjoy.

Improvisation Workshop
The goal of this course is to introduce the skill of making music on the spot. This will allow the students to explore new ways of expression outside the traditional written music and develop the ability of playing by ear as well as gain knowledge about the different styles and genres of today's world.

This program is designed to refine and expand the art of piano teaching, whether you are an experienced educator or in the beginning stages of your teaching career. We offer lesson observations, Master Classes, lectures, workshops, and Q&A sessions with our guest artists.
